The Oddero 2020 Barolo Villero has an interlude of sweet cherry and plump fruit, but then it veers towards tart fruit flavors followed by fine powdery tannins. Smoothness is a theme that continues throughout. It ages in large French oak casks and spends six months in cement vat to better integrate. Production is 6,000 bottles. Monica Larner, Wine
