In the immediate vicinity of the castle is the Slane Distillery. Alex gained experience in the whiskey sector through his work as a brand ambassador for a well known manufacturer and developed the idea of his own Irish whiskey in 2008. He finally put this idea into practice together with his father Henry and his stepmother Iona. Slane Triple Casked matured for an undefined period in a
