There were 4 issues of the star conferred by Sultan Tewfik Mahommed, Khedive of Egypt on all troops who qualified for the Egypt Medal 1882 89. All made in Birmingham, 3 stars were dated 1882, 1884 and 1884 6, with one star undated. There was also an undated star with Tokar bar. This replica medal is also made in Birmingham. This is_the 1882 star. All recipients of the Egypt Medal received the appropriate star.
