I have always had a weakness for Roberto Voerzio's 2000 Barolo Cerequio
red berry finish
and a warm and dry July and September
Mild reduction pushes the underlying fruit to the background but I doubt that it will persist
Gaja (Pieve Santa Restituta), Brunello Montalcino Vintage:2016 I have always had aConcentrated, dark fruit with top notes of tobacco leaf. Seems already a little developed. Noticeable oak on the palate but with lovely freshness too. Modernist hand and can already be approached. (WS)
