Oakville Winery Zinfandel, 2022 muscat French oak tonneaux aging100% Zinfandel from the Lincoln Creek Vineyard in the Oakville appellation of Napa Valley. The vineyard is organic and family owned; winemaker Lynn Watanabe makes the Oakville wines for the historic, fifth generation family winery, Ghost Block. Ripe strawberry, cherry, pomegranate, hibiscus flower, coffee, and white pepper; palate is expressive with soft, ripe tannins with a clean finish. Aged 12 months in second year American and neutral oak.
