Cottanera Etna Rosso, 2022 Aglianico Lapis Luna has been making100% Nerello Mascalese from 25 30 year old vines on the northern slope of Etna, where the soil is sandy volcanic ash. Francesco Cambria bought 100 hectares of vines and hazelnut groves in 1962, seeking a retreat from his career. At first focused on hazelnuts, he sold off the grapes to the local co op. Over time, and through the generations, the focus evolved to today where the winery is led by siblings Mariangela and Francesco Cambria with focused
