Jean-Michel Gerin, Cote Rotie Champin Seigneur Vintage:2010 open and supple(includes roughly 10% viognier), Bright purple. Aromas of candied dark fruits, cola and woodsmoke, with a spicy overtone. Brighter red fruits appear on the palate, which offers an array of spicy berry flavors, seamless texture and very good energy. Finishes spicy and sweet, with a late note of violet and excellent focus. Josh Raynolds
