EFFICIENCY DECORATION GVI European Union Medals Non-returnableAwarded to commissioned officers in the Territorial Army for 20 years service, service in the ranks counting for half and war service for double. In 1949 the qualifying time was dropped to 12 years with bars awarded for every 6 years service.
