Description
youthfully austere and mildly warm finale
Chambord and black raspberry jus
probably to be bottled as Marie Beurrier) Very fresh
A brooding and reticent nose grudgingly offers up its array of ripe but cool wild black berries and forest floor that is trimmed in hints of wood and menthol
Philippe Pacalet, Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Size:12x750ml youthfully austere and mildly warm(from a blend of Sentiers and Feusselottes). Pretty and well layered aromas consist of plum, violet and spice elements. There is excellent minerality and a relatively refined mid palate mouth feel despite ample muscle and punch reflected by the bitter cherry, moderately firm and palate coating finish. This is not a Chambolle of lace and grace but I like the delivery as well as the underlying material. (90 92) 2024+
