Nocturne Ben E. In the spring of 2010Edith Sdergran's Nocturne ("Silvery moonlight evening") from 1916 is simultaneously serious and light, mysterious and bright. Birgitta Flick builds her interpretation for three part treble choir around a hummed melody that creates the harmony with its movement. The contrast between the soft sound of the waves and the clear consonants in words like "silver light" together with small glissando movements where the piece seems to stop gives a dreamy piece
